26… I am the Lord who heals you.”
When the Israelites first came out from Eygpt, this was the first compound name that the Lord had revealed to them.
In faith, I claim that Father, You are the Lord that heals...
By Your stripes, I am healed...
By Your stripes, my family is healed...
By Your stripes, my friends are healed...
In You, Father, I place my trust. Let Your healing fall upon this land and upon those who require it...
I thank you Father, that "Nothing shall by any means hurt me", and "No weapon formed against me shall prosper".
I claim all these in Your name.
Amen.

i've heard of jehovah before. who is he?
Jehovah = God... Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Shamah or Jehovah Jireh are the names of God given by the ppl of Israel, remembering what God has done for them...
Jehovah Rapha = God my healer
Jehovah Shamah = God is with me
Jehovah Jireh = God is my provider
Thx 4 asking xD

Jehovah is basically "God", coz our God's basically d same God... Dat's y d Bible includes d Jewish Holy texts as well...
But dey treat d name of God very holy, so most of the time dey wun even say God, rather G_D, sth like dat...

owh, really? so Jehovah is Jesus then?
Hahaha technically yes as well, though most people dun look at it that way xD
Wanna go into more detail, there's many names that they gave, just as Jehovah, to God... Say, Elohim or Creator, just Yahweh and so on...
But i'm sure u can find out more from online resources, (or ask me personally) if you're really interested :) Coz it's like a looooooooooong story xD

thx! but i'm curious though, why do Jews reject Jesus? isn't Jesus their God?
so that's how it goes. interesting.
you know i studied the bible too right. even so, i'm still "floating" as to how the Christians accept Jesus as their God?
Yup, I guessed as much...
Then again, many people float with the idea whether or not Nabi Muhammad actually received actual callings from God (no insult nor offense intended :D)
Well, I guess... Like in any other case... It requires faith, no? :) There are in fact alot of signs in the bible which actually show that Jesus really is God, but that calls for... Well... Quite alot of explanation and research...
And of course the portrayal in the Quran is kinda different from the portrayal of Jesus in the bible (especially how He died and stuff) so I guess I can see why it's kinda hard to look how we look at it...
It is kinda cool that you ask these questions though...I mean, we all have a right to question what we believe in, no? No point having follow blindly something, ya? xD

yes, true. btw, i feel guilty being the only one asking questions. u can ask question about Islam if u want. that way, we would be even. i'm not offended in any way. in fact, i appreciate it. hehe...
owh, i didn't know that people reject the fact that Muhammad received revelation from Allah. thx for the heads up. btw, where did u heard it? i'd better check it out.
actually, my doubts about Jesus being God doesn't come from the Quran. based on the Quran, we Muslims believe that Jesus is the son of Mary, born a miracle (Mary was never touched by a man), the great Prophet, the Messiah, can cure leprosy, the blind, and can bring someone back to life. we Muslims believe that. basically, we love Jesus too. if we don't, then we're not Muslims. it's in our faith.
my doubts actually came from reading the Bible. i found a number of verses that don't fit the idea that Jesus is God. for example like when Jesus is praying and when he complaints to God on the cross. if he's God, who is he praying to and complaining to? please clear that up for me because i don't want to have any misunderstandings. thx.
Hey Aiman!!! Thanks for the questions!!! Sorry din get to reply coz have been away for the past like... Many days? Hahahaha!!!
Oh yeah and I know that the Quran receives and accepts the idea of Jesus as a prophet and that He did miraculous signs and all, (and that He actually appears more times in the Quran than alot of ppl, check it out xD) but it does differ on His death and resurrection, which turns out to be very important to us Christians... :)
Okay here's to a clearer picture... I'm sure you've heard of the Trinity, the concept of one God, but yet three... Hmm maybe it would be easier to say like 3-in-1? Hmmm or maybe d water analogy would be better... Like Water can be in Ice, yet in vapour, yet in liquid, but still water, no? Or like how can we say that there is body, soul and spirit, but we can't see it? That's where faith comes in, but Jesus came as fully God and fully man...
Or like this lah... The old system of purification is the offering of the blood of an unblemished animal to cover the sins of a person, Jesus came (as a perfect sacrifice) to take away the sins of the world to anyone who is willing to accept Him... But since He is God, the grave could not hold Him, and so He is now ALIVE!!! Yay!!! Hahaha...
No problem my friend... Questions, always welcome... We can always ask, no problem at all, and hey!!! I dun get offended like dat one man, no worry :) But hey, if we should have to reason out everything, no point for faith anymore, no? :)
Oh and about the prophet Muhammad? Couple of my friends were talking bout it in form 4 after Sejarah one day... But hey, we're all open-minded people, no? Yet still, believing in such thing still requires faith, no?
*phew, looooong speech, no?* Hahahaha xD

oh, i already know that the name jesus or isa (in arabic) is more than the name muhammad in the quran. muhammad did tell us a lot about jesus actually.
you've pointed out a couple of interesting issues that troubles me still.
but before i address them, i just wanna know whether you accept both testaments - the new testament and the old testament - or not. because i heard that some christians only accept the new testament.
Hahaha!!! My friend, God's Word is God's Word...
Of course I accept both testaments... :) (weird though... I never really hear of Christians who dun accept the old testament... Hmmm... I'll go look it up1 Thx!!! xD

interesting. well, can I ask you something?
Do you have proof that the bible is God's word?
I used to heard some contradictions in the Bible and questioning whether bible is really God's word or perhaps is it just a blind faith?
As everything for us to believe not only faith but also to consider the proof isn't it?
If you can point out and prove that Bible is God's word, I really appreciate it. Like in Quran, 26:192 and 45:2,it is mentioned that it is It is not to point out the differences but I am wondering in what reason people believe Bible as GOd's word? (hope no offence ya..just wondering...)
Hahaha sure!!! Hello!!! :)
No worry about offence, none taken :)
Oh about contradictions in the Bible, none that i've seen so far, only with verses taken out of context have I seen so called "contradictions", but hmmm... As in anybody's speeches, when taken out of context, it might sound abit off, no? For example, if I say "all people are lazy in thheir own way, even us Malaysians", ppl who take it out of context might say that "oh, Malcolm is against Malaysians says that all Malaysians are lazy..." See? :)
Proof is always good to get... Again, no offence to anyone reading this, but if I were to actually proof why I believe the Bible is the Word of God... It would take very long... The 66 books written by 40 authors but all sharing the same plot, the equidistant letter sequencing which points of alot of stuff, the archaeological evidences which proof the genuineness of the writings, and all these things proof the bible is true...
But I know what you mean, you want to ask why the Bible is "GOD'S WORD", right? Why I say it comes from God? :) Okay~ What I believe is that the Bible is it is fully inspired by God, and penned down by the people God of whom God tells to write down... For example, like when Christ says He is the "Alpha and Omega" (in Revelation [last book of the Bible]), it's like the first and last alphabet of Hebrew, "aleph" "tav" (abit like Arabic too, no? xD) It highlights something in Genesis (the beginning) where the Bible says in Hebrew after "elohim", the same words "aleph tav", which isn't translated... Well, as I said, it's really a looooooooong discussion, i'll be happy to talk it over sometime :)
*phew* That was a long comment (sorry bout that) xD But hey, just to end, something interesting...
Psalm 118 is the middle chapter of the entire Bible
Psalm 117, before Psalm 118 is the shortest chapter in the Bible
Psalm 119, after Psalm 118 is the longest chapter in the Bible
The Bible has 594 chapters before Psalm 118 and 594 chapters after Psalm 118
If you add up all the chapters except Psalm 118, you get a total of 1188 chapters
1188 or Psalm 118 verse 8 is the middle verse of the entire Bible
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man." - Psalm 118:8
Hahaha, coincidence? Maybe... Still think it's kinda interesting, though... xD
Hey, no worry bout it, k? Thanks for asking... I know you'll probably meet weird Christian dudes in Canada, and I think these are all fair questions :)
